Vinegar Tom Dramaturgy
As someone with a background in movement, viewpoints, and devising, I helped the director give notes that translated to the actors
Taylor Autumn, the director, let me direct a scene of the show, involving Man (the main character) and his mother, as well as the ensemble looking on.
Another photo from the show. At the beginning of the rehearsal process, we did many trust exercises in order for the ensemble to be cohesive, which the show calls for. Some of these exercises made it into the beginning of the show!

The Other Shore
In the Spring of 2018, I directed a staged reading of "Precious Little" by Madeleine George. The play consists of 3 actors playing around 10 characters.
I differentiated the characters played by the actors through exstensive movement work with the actors (although it was a staged reading) and was sure to cast actors that felt comfortable moving, as one character was a gorilla and a dancing embroyo.
When I read this play, I knew I wanted to direct it. The show involved forgotten languages, abortion, and gay rights, with a touch of comedy.

In the Spring of 2019, the Dramaturgy course I was in created the lobby display for American Idiot, directed by Nancy Anderson.
This display was a collaboration between 12 people, which required a lot of communication between us, and to have a very clear vision.
We created this lobby display through the idea of what we have forgotten in the early 2000s
